Sally's inspiration comes from the natural world, as a child she collected horse chestnuts and other seed pods found amongst the foliage on woodland floors. She has always had a fascination with their tough, often spiky outer shells protecting the perfect untouched seeds within.

It is from these forms that her work has derived; creating unique pod like vessels and beautiful organic jewellery, every piece is extremely tactile with rustic qualities yet highly finished.

Working with silver, brass and copper, each piece is hand raised and formed from flat sheets of metal before different components are soldered together, using techniques of etching and embossing to create surface textures.
